From this year West Bengal Public Service commission started the online form fill up. From this year you have to fill up your West Bengal Civil Service form through online.
If you are applying for Group C or D you do not need to choose any Optional Paper.
In main Examination only Bengali and English should be Descriptive type question and others should be MCQ type question.
Starting Date of form fill up : 8/04/2014
Documents needs at the time of form fill up:
1. Scanned Copy of your recent color photo.(White background preferable)
2. Scanned copy of your signature. (On white paper with Black Ballpoint Pen)
3. Email address
4. Mobile phone number
Fee: Rs. 210 /-
How to pay Fee:
The candidates who require to submit fees need to click on the submit button to get system generated fee payment challan.
Fee payment will be accepted at the CBS branches of the STATE BANK OF INDIA . The candidate can make the fee payment through system generated fee payment challan after 3 hours of generation of the said challan. The bank will provide a
JOURNAL NO. to the candidates. The next date of deposit of the fees, the JOURNAL NO. needs to be filled up at the candidate panel for completion of the process of submission of application. Payment of Fee may be made at the CBS branches of State

Sir, in the time of online payment it shows some error and payment can not made. What to do now.

Problem is solved. Please try to fill up the form at night (on or after 11:00 p.m). Due to huge traffic some problem may be preset other time. Avoid evening time (5:00 P.M to 9 P.M)
ReplyDeleteI am more than 32 years and less than 42 years age physical handicapped general candidate. I have registered successfully but at the time of submitting the WBCS online form it is showing following error:

But as per the advertisement published, my age is ok.

as stated by the person before me, i too am facing the same problem while making payment. the dashboard is showing that the form has been filled up but there is no information on the "payment info" space. waiting for your reply. thank you

DeleteWell, Many candidates face the same problem,. Mainly payment fee and some time opening the page error 500-- Commission is informed about those problem and they are currently working on those problem and now the commission website is under correction.
ReplyDeleteIn the remarks column you can write - "application fee" or keep it blank (blank is not accepted so write "--" , which i did coz i was not sure). this remarks will appear in challan. they should have written-"Purpose of payment" instead of remarks. forgive these duffers n move on : p
